Electrical Engineer

Electrical Engineer, PE preferred but not required, possesses the knowledge and skills to assist the Project Team in performing engineering calculations, generating drawings, and other technical duties. (S)he takes an active role in increasing their knowledge of the discipline and corporate procedures. Also, must be capable of directing and reviewing the work of designers and possess the ability to work with other disciplines. We would like this candidate to be willing to work toward acquiring a PE.
• Industrial power distribution high and medium voltage, grounding & lightning protection, motor control systems, PLC’s including programming, instrumentation, lighting design
• Industrial and/or Petro Chemical environment background experience (a must)
• Arc Flash experience a plus or willing to learn (SKM Software)
• Must be well suited to working for a 20-30 person engineering services firm.
• Candidate must be able to communicate directly with clients, stay focused on production, and have good follow up skills.
• Particular type of experience with PLCs and/or motor control system that are preferred: PLC’s mainly Allen Bradley, Siemens, Provox, Delta-V, Stahl  and familiar with IS certification a plus. Siemens and Allen Bradley drives, Westinghouse, Siemens and Cutler-hammer on the Motor Control        Centers.
•Candidate must be able to develop scope of work and quote projects based on scope of work that is developed themselves or received by customers.

Senior Structural Engineer (PE)

Related experience in industrial and manufacturing environments. Experience to included, but not limited to, possessing the knowledge and skill to assist the Project Team in performing engineering calculations, generating drawings, and other technical duties. (S)he takes an active role in increasing their knowledge of the discipline and corporate procedures. Also, must be capable of directing and reviewing the work of designers and possess the ability to work with other disciplines.
• 8 to 10 plus years of experience in structural engineering with experience in the industrial market
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to research and analyze data such as customer design proposal, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design and application
• Carries out design calculations as directed by Project/Lead Engineers. Examples of these calculations are:
• Structural member sizing (concrete and steel)
• Retaining wall design
• Foundation design (spread footings and piles)
• Wind/seismic load analysis
• Frame analysis
• Ability to carry out design calculations as directed by Project/Lead Engineers
• Ability to review drawings as assigned by the Project/Lead Engineers and mark or make corrections as noted
• Experience evaluating field installations and recommending design modifications to eliminate system malfunctions
• Proficient with AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD, and ProSteel
• Experience performing preliminary analysis and feasibility studies
• Contact fabricators or suppliers to obtain pricing information.
• Ability to investigate and utilize applicable codes and standards such as the OSHA, AISC, ACI, ASCE, etc.
• Assist in defining engineering scope, budget and proposals
• Understanding of schedule and budget constraints
• Team player with good interpersonal skills
• Heavy background in industrial facilities and light commercial
• Ability to scope a project for budgetary estimates and work closely with clients to develop relationships and future business opportunity

Education: Bachelor’s Degree – Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering w/ (PE) Professional Engineering License

Senior Structural Designer

Related experience in industrial and manufacturing environments. Experience to included, but not limited to, structural design and drafting including field verification, design and drafting of concrete and steel structures including equipment and building foundations, steel framing, platforms, pipe racks, etc. Structural fabrication experience a plus. AutoCAD proficiency required, 3D CAD and Inventor a plus.

Required: 7 years applicable experience within industrial service field. Specific emphasis and experience operating AutoCAD software & ProSteel.

Education: Technical Associates Degree (preferred but not required); Applicable CAD Certifications

Duration: Contract to Hire (experience will determine rate)

I&E Designer

Related experience to including, but not limited to, cable tray and conduit routing, instrumentation installation details, loop sheets, location plans & BOM’s, lighting & grounding, electrical elementary diagrams, panel design, PLC’s, and P&ID’s, model space and paper space, attaching and detaching Xrefs, layers and line weights, redlines and markups, ability to provide field measurements with dimensions and notes. Experience with AutoCAD 2020.

Required: 7 years applicable experience within industrial service field. Specific emphasis and experience operating AutoCAD software.

Education: Technical Associates Degree (preferred but not required); Applicable CAD Certifications

Duration: Contract to Hire (experience will determine rate)
